Lovely

I lost my dad three years ago and since then I have been gradually making layouts for his album. To start with it was really hard but as time passes I have found it easier.
This one uses flowers cut both from floral paper and from stamped images.
I have sewn around the edges of the white card and used words typed out on my computer and then printed off. I tend to do this a lot now.
The title and the wording in the top left hand corner are cut from the paper used for the layout.

Just Chillin'

I had had the feather paper for a while and wondered what to do with it as it is so busy and has loads of colours. About this time I was completing a feather layout for my own album (you can see it HERE) and it gave me this idea.
I used Distress Oxides to colour in the stamped feathers
and I left the stamped flower without any colour just adding a small amount of NUVO Drops to the centre of each one.
Everything was cut by hands.
The Feather stamps are from The Works and cost me £1 for the set.

Cruise 2018

I saw an idea like this one on Pinterest and thought what a great way to document our Venice holiday. One or two pages per holiday would work in a holiday album and it's very easy to do and a good way to use up 6 x 6 paper pads or scraps of paper.
The embellishments we all stamped using old and new stamps

and the date was made using the cheap glitter alphabets currently available at the Range and maybe The Works.
I haven't added links to this one as everything was from my own stash and the stamps had been stored out of their wrapper.

Art - Human Skill Layoout

You have no idea how excited I was when one of my class mates Margaret let me have a copy of this photo to make into a layout. The picture is of her great grandad showing off all of his wonderful tattoos.
So what stamps did I go for? Well it just had to be AALL & Create and they worked so well.
I used die cuts for the pipes and the clock and I stamped onto the photo as well. (just in case you're wondering, the photo is a black and white copy)
Everything was distressed using Distress Inks including the colouration on the pipes.
I used the following:
AALL & Create 116 Industrial Script
Distress Inks Rusty Hinge, Old Paper, Vintage Photo
Archival Black Ink
Sizzix Bigz Die - Pipeline

The image on this one including the circle, is all part of one stamp. The butterfly is added afterwards but I have decoupages some of the flowers
and added some small pearls to the centres of the flowers.
Everything coloured in using ProMarkers
Stamp (can't find it but will add it as soon as I do lol)
Card size is 6" x 6"
