Stand Book pages day three

Page five ADVENTURE
and page six FRIEND
There were 14 pages in this Book and of course I could add more if I wanted to. All those who came to class can see all of the pages on the Ladies That Craft class Facebook page.
I also made a technique Stand Book two years ago so I will show some of the pages over the coming days. x

Stand Book a selection

Before christmas I advertised a "Stand Book" class but it was cancelled due to snow. Luckily over the last few weeks I have been able to teach this class so I thought I would share a few of my pages from the book.

Today is SPRING
and SMILE
Keep checking back as I will be adding a couple of pages every day.x

Birthday Bird

Both the cake paper and the stripe paper are glitter papers and sparkle nicely in the background.
Again the bird and flowers were a free stamp set on the front of a magazine a while ago. The bird is coloured in using pro markers. x

Pink Happy Birthday

It's a shame this photo didn't come out to well because the card is actually really bright and very pink.
The Happy Birthday was coloured in to match the colour of the bike and a few gems added a bit more sparkle. x

Unicorn Birthday

Now I can remember where these stamps came from. They were the free gift on Creative Stamping magazine a few months ago. It was a great fairy tale collection and ones I will use again and again.
You can't really see it here but I coated the unicorn with clear Wink of Stella and made is really sparkle when it catches the light.. x

A Mans Happy Birthday

This one was made as a technique card but it came out rather well.
The panels were made using a tri-boss embossing folder on red card, heat embossed around the edges with gold embossing powder and then a gentle rub with Primas Art Alchemy White Gold to pick out all of the detail.
The cogs are by DoCraft and were cut out using their XCut A5  thin metal sheets. You can see a video of the class below.
More tomorrow x.

Special Birthday

This card was made using the free stamps from a recent magazine but for the life of me I can't remember which one. Still some of you will have this one in your stash.
So easy to stamp and then colour in. I used Distress Oxides but some of the ladies in class preferred to use promarkers. It's quite funny, I get out a paint brush and they all get out the pens. x

Have fun butterfly

Not easy to photograph this one but hopefully you can see that the die cut butterfly is stuck over an aperture with the paper hexagon and flowers actually on the inside of the card.
A few gems and a stamped front and it was ready to send. Looks great with all different coloured butterflies as well. x

Hugs

Nothing beats a Distress Oxide background and a fantastic animal stencil. An effective and very easy card to make.
The band across the top left of the card was cut from the distressed background when I cut it to fit the card. Loads more to come believe me lol. x

My New Years Resolutions

I thought this was a great idea for a layout using up pieces of favourite ribbons and washi tapes.
The distressing around the edge was done using Distress Oxides and and the Kaiser Photo Border stamps. The 2018 is from one of Tim Holtz Sizzix dies and the Breath Away stamp is from Hobby Art. You can find the links below.

If you want to see the class in progress video look at yesterdays post. Have fun xx

We Are Family

What better way to start the new year than to bring out the bunting. Bright, cheerful and just the thing to chase away those winter blues.
The Polaroid dies by Sizzix are great fun and ideal for adding multiple photos to your layout. Had real fun with this one as you can see in the video below.

I will share the second layout tomorrow xx
