Loved this mermaid from the first time I saw her. I originally coloured her tail in a soft peach but I put "A Wink of Stella" over the top thinking it was clear and in fact I used white by mistake. Happy accident I think.
The stamp was free in Creative Stamping a few months ago. I have also used her on a mixed media layout which you can see in Junes Mixed Up Magazine.x

Strawberry Birthday
Great card for a Gardener or even someone who loves strawberries and so easy to make.
This is just a £1.25 stamp set from The Range and probably something most people wouldn't think of buying. Love a bargain x

Still a big kid
I was at the Crafty club held at Rainham Oast House a few weeks back and I saw a stamp that I really liked but it was too small to use on a scrapbook page so I decided to draw my own instead. I sketched the garden chair first and then made it into a template to use in the class.
Everything on this page is either stamped, stencilled, punched out and/or coloured in.
Some of the stamps were from my stash but most of them were from free sets off of the front of magazines.
I especially loved making the little cushions to go on the chair behind the photo.x

Where have I been
I have been about but spending some time with family and having a bit of a break. Another two weeks before I start classes again so thought it was about time I caught up with the blogs. I have counted twenty two projects that need putting on here so without further ado lets start with
"Nothing Is Impossible"
Despite all of the wonderful, fussy layouts on Pinterest and other sites, I still love white space and I so enjoyed making this layout using my new "Beautiful You" stamps from Stampin Up and of course my new Distress Oxides.
I like the way the ink starts at the top of the title and gradually fades back to white.
And the little sign post made from scraps
and of course not forgetting the little fluffy clouds and wording stamps by Tracy Easson. Please with how this one turned out.x
