The wording on this is really difficult to photograph as it is heat embossed in gold.
This is the only one of the six that I feel is still unfinished but as yet I can’t work out what needs to be added to finish it.
Each panel was made separately using some of the stickers and lace in the kit.
So that’s it for this class and kit however I have still got 2 layouts to share from Tuesdays Scrapbook Class.
Have a great evening and Happy Mothers Day mum xxx

Two More Layouts
SATURDAY, 29 MARCH 2014
Five of Six Layouts
Nearly there. Here is the fifth Layout from the Limited Edition Kit Class in March using Prima's Stationers Desk range.
Nice and simple this one however I did find that I didn’t have enough red flowers so I coloured some of the other ones using a Promarker.
And at last I am able to release the kit.
The kit for the Limited Edition includes the following:
Stationers Desk 12 x 12 Collection Kit (which includes 16 collection papers; 1 type and tab sticker sheet; 1 Journaling Spot Sticker sheet; 2 ATC card sheets), 1 x Kraft Core cardstock, 1 x white cardstock, bag of mixed Prima Flowers and leaves, bag of lace and die cuts, bag of molded shapes including frames and birds, Paste for stencilling, Buttons and gems and full instructions to make 6 layouts.
The kit is £25 plus £3.90 p & p and you can buy your Kit using the button below.
Last of the six on here tomorrow. Enjoy the sunshine xx

Still playing with the background etc so still a work in progress but hoping to launch on 1st May 2014.

THURSDAY, 27 MARCH 2014
Three of Six
and nearly half way there.
This time I used a few of the memory Box dies and a Memory stamp I bought 2nd hand online but fell in love with.
In this kit I did include some lovely little trinkets including this bird, which i made using clay and my molds. They are so easy to make and you can colour them in using Marker Pens, paint or anything really.
Check back for the next one tomorrow and the launch of the kit. xx

Love these colours
On the ball today. Here are sneek peeks of the photos I have used for tonights class with the measurements.
Remember, you don’t have to use exactly the same photos but take into account the colours in the background as these are the colours in the layouts.
If in doubt bring black and white photos and they will work just as well.
See you tonight xx

The First of Six
A Limited Edition Class means a great kit and loads of scrummy layouts to use as ideas, a sort of jumping off point showing everyone how the papers in the kit can be used.
Sometime you can see a range of papers and fall in love with them but have no idea how to use them because they are heavily patterned or have a very bold colour way. My job is to use the Class Kit to give inspiration and hope that it helps everyone to get started and have a great day.
Over the next few days I will share all of the layouts but first here is a picture of the kit each person received.
Available on the day were brads, charms, gems, buttons and additional flowers and lace as required. Paper was also provided for die cuts which were cut out by each class member.
Layout One – Perfect
I now have kits available to make the 6 layouts. Everything including die-cuts are included however you will need to use your own stencils, stamps and ink pads. Full instructions are also included along with free membership worth £6.50, to the Ladies That Craft club. The launch date for this kit is Friday 28th March 2014.

Photos for Limited Edition Kit class tomorrow.
Morning. Nice to wake up to some sunshine this morning
While I’m eating my breakfast I thought I’d better let you know what photos to bring tomorrow. If you can bring along black and white photos (modern or old) they would work best. I have used both photos of outside walking and of the grandchildren but anything would work.
The predominant colour this time is red and the photo sizes (LLandscape or P portrait) I have used are:
Layout one: 6” x 5” L
Layout Two: 6” x 5”L
Layout Three: 4” x 6” P
Layout Four: 5” x 4” L
Layout Five: 4 1/2” x 4 1/2” L
Layout Six: 4 1/2” x 4 1/2” L and 2” x 2”
Layout Seven: 3” x 4” P (2 of these) and 2” x 2”
So lots of scrummy ideas for you to have a go at tomorrow.
Before I go here are the three cards we made yesterday.
Loads of classes now on the Blog so if you would like to come along please e-mail me at ladiesthatcraft@live.co.uk.
Better get on. Still got to add the finishing touches. Have a great day xxx

Todays Class
went far too quickly as usual.
My first share is not the cards we made today but two lovely cards made by Gloria using an idea we tried in class a few weeks ago.
Lovely cards Gloria. Thank you for sharing.
I also found out today that recycling can be taken just that step further. its amazing what you can do with a hanger and a small bag. Here is the newest waste paper collector coming to your home soon lol.
Well I was impressed and it certainly brought a smile to everyones faces as did the mess we a managed to make.
Thanks for a great afternoon xx

At last
one laptop returned mended and clean, (that won’t last long lol ), I feel complete once more and raring to go.
So what first? Well I want to share this finished layout by Sue Ross. I took photos of it in class a few weeks ago meaning to put it on here. The reason for sharing this one is that when I made this class layout I knew it needed “something” to finish it off. It’s a feeling that niggled and it was only when I saw the stamped phrase on Sues layout, that I realised what it was.
and of course the special button. I know how hard is was for Sue to use it as she treasures all of her buttons.
Lovely finishing touches. xx

Layout with a difference
Yes it was playtime on Saturday in the Scrapping Your Family class. The look on every ones faces when i told them we would be using a textured paste and modelling clay to make one of the layouts was brilliant, but we all had some fun I think.
As you can see, everyone had their own ideas for the background.
I did also make a 15 minute layout as well just in case anyone wanted the easy option.
These layouts will be released as a kit very soon so keep checking back for details.
Hugs xx

Nice layout
I know that when I teach a Scrapbook Class there are some people who like to copy and take great pleasure in completing both layouts. And I also know there are some people who just like to do their own thing and move things around a bit which is great fun.
Here is Marias layout using a few different papers and ribbons to complete her layout.
I like the way she used the cute as a bug die cut as a stencil.
And the ribbon used as decoration
Thanks for sharing Maria.
You can see the photos of yesterdays Scrapbook Class on Facebook. Have a great evening xx

Tuesdays Scrapbook Class
Amazingly I have finished the layouts for the class on Tuesday.
Layout one is black and pink and I have used two 2 1/2" x 3" photos.
Layout two is a summer layout using blue, orange, red, yellow and teal. For this I have used one 4" x 6" photo.
Remember, if you are unsure what to bring then just bring along black and white photos as they go with anything and you can change them once the layouts are finished if you want to.
Looking forward to,seeing everyone xxx

Rain, Rain go away….
It’s raining so hard and it’s so windy that I can’t get anything out of the car so I will have to post the cards from todays Card Class on here tomorrow.
So instead here is the last project using the foiling technique (for a while anyway). I have now decorated two cheapy Ikea frames using the same technique.
and a closer look
I’ve got loads of things I can transform but they have got to go on hold for a few weeks as there are loads of classes to prepare for.
Have a good evening and keep safe and dry xxx

I’ve been playing
I can’t stop decorating boxes. I found quite a few of these basic cardboard boxes that I bought a while ago and decided to see if I could use the same techniques I used in class to transform it.
Here is the box
and here is the finished project
Just the fabric inside to complete and its completely finished.
This means I can now do some mini kits as well as the main kit so you will have a choice. Keep checking back for more details. Kits should be ready this week. xx

So today
I have had a great day out in Stevenage at Stamparama with Gayle today. Got some good ideas and saw loads of people buying which was a good thing. Was I one of them?……..well yes I was and I will be sharing some lovely stamps at the next card class.
So I didn’t get back till late afternoon so once again the light was yuck however as I promised to show the Creativity class examples I though I’d better take my best shot with my little camera.
Here is the box closed and on my little table.
and inside
Here is the little sewn pouch which contains the leather effect minibook
and a few of the pages in the book.
And here they are all together.
The online class and kit will go on sale in thenext couple of weeks along with several new scrapbook kits so keep checking back for more details.
The next Creativity 101 class is on Saturday 12th April from 10am to 4pm and you can book your place HERE.
Thank you to everyone for your lovely comments on Facebook. xx

Update for Creativity 101 this Saturday
Hello lovely ladies. Here are the items I will be using on Saturday which you may or may not have at home.
Although I will have these in class you can bring along your own for your own personal use (especially the Sizzix or equivalent as we will use this a lot and having your own will make things quicker for you).
So here goes:
Cutting Mat;
Cutter;
Knife;
Sizzix Machine or similar;
Apron;
2 paint brushes (one large one small);
Distress inks in Walnut Stain/Vintage Photo/Wild Honey; UHU or other strong glue (I do have some of this to sell).
And if you have a favourite 5” x 7” embossing folder at home that you are just dying to use, bring that along as well and you can use it on your project.
And if you haven’t got any of these then just bring along yourself and your basic tools. No problem
And a sneak peek. Oh well ok them
Looking forward to seeing everyone and having a great day playing. xx

Scrapping Your Family tomorrow
Evening everyone. Sorry for the delay in posting this but I have had a rotten cold and have only just finished tomorrows layouts.
Here are the colour ranges and photo sizes.
Layout one – Portrait Photo measures 4” x 6” but a 5” x 7” will also do.
Layout two – Landscape photo measures 5 x 7 or bigger. Don’t worry if you only have a 4 x 6 photo as we can make it fit if necessary.
Both layouts are quite bright and breezy so most photos including black and white will work.
Don’t forget, if you have a Sizzix machine please bring it along for your own personal use as there is die cutting for this class and I will only have one machine tomorrow.
See you there xx

Another Card
for either Valentines or in this case an engagement congratulations card.
I just love those cats. Aren’t they cute and so great for all manner of occasions. The Die also comes with some small french stamps, you know “L”amour, j’adore, etc) and is from Marianne Design.
Off to spend the day with my grandchildren. Heaven xxx

Look what I just made
and it all came about because I was having “issues” with a roll of tin (aluminium) foil. Don’t you just hate it when you can’t find the end and when you do, it tears and makes a right mess.
I did think “what a waste” and then had a eureka moment which resulted in this card.
So I thought I’d share how I did it so that you can have a go as well.
This is what I used.
and here is a step by step for you to follow.
Firstly take i piece of foil measuring approx 24” long. Fold it over and over four times and then scrunch it up.
Fold in half and then scrunch up again.
You should end up with this
Now place between the perspex plate and run through your Sizzix or similar machine.
This is what comes out
Lay your chosen die on the foil and die cut. I used the Queen of Hearts die from Memory Box. To make this work you need to use a pin to poke out the little bits first before taking the whole shape out.
Be really gentle
Next using the remaining compact foil, cut out a buckle (I used the Taylored Expressions die)
Now cut out the following:
In Black
12cm x 12 cm
12.8cm x 12.8cm
In White
12.5cm x 12.5cm
13cm x 13cm
Take the black card measuring 12cm x 12cm and put through the Sizzix using an embossing folder
Make up the card so that it looks like this but do not attach the embossed piece yet.
Stamp a piece of seam binding
Attach the foil shape to the card. Cut out a red heart in cardstock. Use a ball tool and a foam mat to make a raised heart.
Add the silicone glue to the back of the heart and stick in place.
Now add some small gems but not to many.
To finish paint some Glossy Accents onto the heart.
I hope you enjoy making this card and playing with foil. Don’t forget to follow the Blog if you want to keep up to date with more tutorials coming soon. xx

Sneak Peek for Scrapping Your Family on Saturday
Ok so this is my new years resolution, to give a bit of colour detail and photo sizes so that you can match your photos.
Layout one
As you can see the main colour is red and the theme is outside so any 4 x 6 portrait photo either in colour or black and white.
Layout Two
Lovely bright oranges and blues for this one so again you need a 4 x 6 photo but a bit more summery. Not sure it would suit a beach picture though but your choice.
Looking forward to seeing everyone again. xx

It’s good to finish off
Sometimes when I’ve got a bit of time I try and sort out some of the many, many boxes and bags I have in the garage and in the loft.
Today I found an unfinished project at the bottom of a bag which was originally meant as an entry to an mixed media challenge. I doubt whether I will ever finish it but I thought I’d share it anyway.
I’ve put it in the “to be finished” box. I’ll show it again if it gets finished. xx

First Card Class of 2014
and what a lovely class it was. Everyone was chilled out after Christmas break and everyone just worked at their own pace.
The magazine I was referring to in class with the free set of stamps is Get Stamping Issue 6. I can’t resist a magazine with free stamps. It’s a really good way of adding your collection at a fraction of the cost.
So here are Thursdays Cards
If you would like to come along and make a few cards then please e-mail me at ladiesthatcraft@live.co.uk You can be a complete beginner or just a seasoned crafter looking to have a few hours “playing” and meeting some new friends.
Everyone is welcome and if you are new to class you will receive a lifetimes FREE membership to the Ladies That Craft Club worth £6.50.
Classes start at £11.00 and a full list can be found both HERE on the Blog and Here on the class booking site.
Right, time to finish the ironing and stroke all of the new products that arrived today.
Have a great evening. xx

Whichever way you look at it
I made loads of layouts in 2013. I went through the blog and classroom last night to see how many I could add to my 2013 folder.
Here is the result
I made this collage on Picasa. It’s ok but quite confusing and some of the layouts ended up on the bottom.
So I then made this one
Much clearer but it was when I was putting this one together that I realised there were several missing so I need to go through them all and photograph those I can’t find.
I was going to do this with all the cards too but I don’t know if I have enough time. This year I am going to use the Project 365 app on my phone to keep a record of what I make and when. It will be much easier.
Enjoy the weekend. The weather doesn’t look too good so plenty of time to create. Have a good one xx

So I was up with the Lark this morning
and the rain was hammering against the glass and the wind was blowing a gale, so I opened the curtains and worked at the table next to the window. There’s something really cosy about sitting indoors while Mother Nature does her thing outside.
I’ve still got loads of catching up to do and top of my list was to complete a Mail Art piece for this months challenge. Here,at last, is my entry.
I used one of my favourite Hero Art stamps of 2013, Promarkers and a lovely snowflake die from Memorybox.
Then I set about making my 2014 inserts for kits as I needed something to say “welcome and thank you”. I came up with this
I think I will make them with lots of different flowers in different colours. That should keep me busy.
And lastly I have been busy designing and making layouts for 2014. During the crop on 12th December I managed to die cut several of these.
no not the background, the soldiers. So better get cracking and make those layouts. “And it’s still only 9am.”
Have a great day and don’t forget to decorate an envelope for the Mail Art Challenge. xxx

Can’t believe I missed these
I’ve been sorting out all of the cards I made for card class in 2013 and found these two which I don’t think I shared.
These two were really easy but two of my favourites.
The tree is still up because I can’t bear to take it down just yet. It makes the room look so warm and cosy. I’ll tackle it on Saturday.
The boys have had a great day too. No not the human ones but these two.
H will definitely miss the tree.
and T hates the rain so has spent all day sprawled on the settee. Think I’ll come back as a cat.
Just made up the last of the kits (only 2 left) and embellishment bundles (only 4 left). Thank you to everyone who ordered. The last of the kits goes out tomorrow morning so watch out for the postie.
Oh well time to pack away and get the new bits out. I’ve got four cards to make for next weeks class. Looking forward to seeing everyone again xx
