An ideal way to get a white Christmas this year. The houses are from one of the edge dies and the lively man with umbrella is transformed as he shelters from the snow.

A Christmas Wish

It has been a very strange year but amongst the stress, anguish and tears I have realised just how many lovely, supportive friends I have made in my crafty world and what a lovely bunch my family are. It is wonderful to feel appreciated and loved and I am really thankful for all of you.

As I can't send all of you a Christmas card here's one for all of you with love.

I am looking forward to a great Family Christmas and after much eating, drinking and definitely "being merry" I will return afresh with loads of ideas on how to make 2016 the best year ever.

Have a fantastic Christmas and I hope you get everything you have wished for and more.

I have always loved the shape of this deer. Notice the snow around the edges of the tag.

and the way Sally has distressed Tim Holtz Ornate Plate using black paint and a soft cloth.

Have you ever wondered what to do with your Tim Holtz Ideaology Baubles. Well in class I showed everyone how to make them into beautiful Christmas droplets ideal for tags, jewellry or window hangers.

This time Sally has used Tim Holtz street lamp and white embossing powder to make the snow effect.

The detail shot shows just how beautiful this one is.

A Few Christmas Tags

Loads of lovely tags to share over the coming days. These ones are made by Sally West and were made in a class I taught a while ago.

Tag One

 The little dress was made using the taylors dummy as a pattern.

 and the little hangers and the scissor charm finish it off nicely.

The background is paper from one of Tim Holtz paper pads.

Smile

Layout two and yes I had to use the butterflies again. They are so scrummy and easy to use and if you stamp onto coloured paper you only need to cut them out.

I think this one is probably one of my favourites. I used a knife to cut around some of the paper pieces on the main paper and then raised them using sticky pads.

The little tree stamp was by Kaisercraft and I think it will be used many more times in my family album.

Scrapping Your Family

Last Saturday was the last Scrapping Your Family class of 2015 and to mark the occasion we had a special kit including a lovely set of stampendous stamps.

I cut the title using the scan n cut and the butterflies were made using the stamps.
